Strategies:
- Coordinate technical sessions at GSCA conferences and events, providing an ongoing forum for the presentation of technical issues of interest to GSCA members.
- Establish recommended technical guidelines for giant screen exhibitors (expanding upon those outlined in the Technical Task Force’s 2009 report), and seek to develop standard test materials for evaluating the performance of giant screen cinemas.
- Create an online reference database of tools used by giant screen filmmakers--including cameras, film stocks, and post-production processes--in the interest of helping giant screen filmmakers produce the highest quality images possible for presentation on the giant screen.
- Liaise with the GSCA Conference Committee and Executive Committee regarding technical standards for submission of content at GSCA events.
- Deal with issues relating to GSCA giant screen theater certification should these arise as a by-product of the efforts of the GSCA Technical and Marketing Task Forces.
